E-hobby G1 Reissue Anime Accurate Bluestreak

E-hobby Bluestreak…Bluestreak fans must get this as this version is the anime accurate.
The rest of the versions are considered Silverstreak. If you want a bigger challenge and have cash to spare, you may want to search for the diaclone black hood blue streak. But its really rare to find one in nice condition…i had to settle for the lesser brother…this e-hobby version.

This reissue came 18 years later in 2002…The mold deterioration can be clearly seen on the face. No longer does the face have distinct and clear lines.

This Nissan Fairlady mold never fails to impress…even though it is a reissue.
When ever i hold it in my hands, the weight and feel is just nice…coupled with the rubber wheels…perfect!

Transformers Ehobby G1 Clampdown

This is probably my favorite rendition of sideswipe mold.
Would be good if i can ever get my hands on a Diaclone Police Sideswipe!
The other would be the Diaclone Police Sunstreaker....but for these 2 diaclone pieces, it is almost impossible to find anyone wanting to let go...
The next thing i need to worry about is the yellowing of the white car.
Got this, also an ehobby issue, together with Deepcover. This is Clampdown. Similarly launched in 2003, Clampdown comes together with Deepcover as a set. I got both of them MISB and almost immediately un-MISB them the moment i got my hands on them.

Alternate mode is still a Lamborgini Countach LP500S (of course! it's a Sideswipe!) but with the light bar and decals/stickers....this fella is now a police car.

If the traffic police start to use Lambos as police cars......................

Just love the die cast. and i'm still sore about TakaraTomy not using diecast for the Sideswipe/Red Alert/Tigertracks masterpieces. AND.....rubber wheels...yes, long time ago but still sore....

ehobby brothers standing side-by-side.

Artwork, artwork, artwork. A pity that ehobby issues does not come with an artwork on the box. ehobby boxes are just simple box with a large window.

Transformers Ehobby Deepcover (G1 Sideswipe)

This is the second ehobby piece after Tigertracks.
Ehobby Deepcover. Using the G1 Sideswipe mold again.
As i've said...suddenly being poisoned by this mold, I had to get my hands on all versions.
The biggest hurdle would be the diaclone versions which i have started searching....

This fella was released in 2003 as an ehobby exclusive...and it took me 10 years to get hooked....damn...where was i all this while? Nearly went to ebay to get this, and a friend managed to secure both Deepcover and Clampdown for me...

Another recolor of the Sideswipe mold...bot mode is not too bad...

but my favorite for this will be the alternate mode: Lamborghini Countach LP500S.
A lambo in black...cool...

Brand New...MISB and i un-MISB it!!
Of course all papers are still sealed.

Close up of the Bio card...

If you know about this piece, you should know what to expect in the next post.....

E-hobby G1 Tigertracks

Quite recently got poisoned by Lamborghini Countach LP500S.
started to look for all the molds using the sideswipe mold and the search lead me to this place...A mail away exclusive released in 2003 through issue 60 of Figure O magazine, it carries the ID No of 90. Also an e-hobby exclusive. This one is getting rarer as each day passes. It's now or never, i told myself...

As per all G1s, artwork on the box is a masterpiece itself. It would be perfect if it was colored.

One of the few artwork which is inclusive of the vehicle mode...in this case an artwork of Countach LP500S!

How can a transformer do without tech specs?

Out of packaging. A pity that one of the missiles is off the tree.
Paperworks sealed in bag.

Nice nice piece....

The biocard. Exact replica of sideswipe's artwork minus the color difference.

The tour begins...you can never go wrong with a G1 mold. Rubber wheels and die cast...in fact, the sideswipe mold and the prowl/streak mold are 2 of the best molds in my view.

Headlights are stuck to the car.

The underside of the car. (it was standing upright...)

Bot mode. One of the most good-looking transformers.
Everyone needs to have a feel of holding a vintage G1 figure. Transform it and roll the car on the ground. You'll discover that for G1 cars, a little effort goes a long way.

Here it is...the tiger stands beside Sideswipe.
Exactly the same mold, only variance in color. It is a very nice figure to play with and to look at.
If you are into vintages and/or G1s, grab this if you ever come upon a good piece.

ps: i have to start looking for the rest of the countach molds...not the diaclones....hmmm....what else.....
