Prowl, Prowl and Prowl

Taking these pictures and writing this makes me feel like a Prowl slut, but i'm not. Really.
Just happen to own these molds.
In fact, i'm already in love with the G1 Prowl/Streak/Smokescreen mold.
Just got a Universe Deluxe Prowl off a reseller. Yes, i do not have CHUG Prowl before this and i'm wondering why it took so long…fortunately, i did not have to pay a really absurd price for this.
Here's the photo of the 3 versions together…in alternate car mode.
The masterpiece as always is an exact replica of its G1 counterpart, sporting a Fairlady Mold.

In bot mode, the masterpiece is just slightly taller than its deluxe cousin,  but with tons of articulation.
The CHUG Prowl, disappoints me in terms of mold and robustness of the toy. Don't really like this version of Prowl. The doors are flimsy, pop out easily during transformation.
The G1 piece shown here is the Takara box reissue. The details on the face shows mold degradation, but as i've said before the mold rocks big time!
Masterpiece designs never fail to disappoint. but the material of construction disappoints me.

Details of the Masterpiece Prowl's head sculpt.
Very clear lines and you can see a fresh mold used. (look at a reassure Prowl/Streak's face and you will know what i am talking about.

I still feel the G1 mold wins the competition with MP Prowl close behind.
The reasons are the die cast, rubber wheels. The MP mold technically is far better, representing anime Prowl in all categories, but as a toy, it lacks the feel of a masterpiece…lacking the metal and rubber.
I always feel that the later pieces of the masterpiece, have not enough or zero die cast.
TakaraTomy, please please please start to put in diecsat and rubber wheels for future masterpieces…

Transformers United Seekers:Aces Boxset

Transformers United Seekers: Aces Boxset.
Using Universe Starscream or Classics Starscream's mold, the toymakers re-issued this box set.
This is probably the 5th version of starscream.

The box art is nice and it scores with that treacherous look on Starscream....

Tech specs at the back of the box...

The mold seems ok with the figure looking fine...straight lines no visually no signs of mold deterioration. But if you actually play with it, some parts of the toy is very tight. Compared to Henkei, the playability has taken a step back.
Paint job is really crap...though there's some brownie points with those metallic shiny paint...but the paint detailing is downright pathetic, really.

Missile launchers and missiles looked as if they had just came out of the mold...no paint job at all...
Shoulders, no paint job...

Paint details on the knee and crotch...gone...

Simialr for Skywarp and Thundercracker...paint details' gone..it seems that they tried to replace all those tiny details with the metallic paint and hope that the market respond : "WOW, TT finally out did themselves!!!"
no way man...

Took out my Henkei Starscream and did a pictorial comparison...here you have Henkei on left and Boxset on right..

wrong orientation guys, bear with me...Henkei on right and Boxset on left.
The faction symbols: Henkei, on clear...Boxset on silver.

Boxset has shiny boosters..

Look at the difference in detailing...

Henkei Starscream

Boxset Starscream

Missile launchers...Henkei on the left and Boxset on the right....just pathetic...

Classics Starscream vs KO Classics Starscream

Bought a KO Classics/Universe Deluxe Starscream.

And i have a MOSC original piece. Made comparisons and here are the differences i found.

Original on the left. Rocket launchers are faced in the correct direction. Missiles are facing upwards.

KO on the right, the rocket launchers are installed in the opposite direction and one of the missles is packed in the wrong direction.

Artwork look terrifying similar....

Original at the top. "Each Sold Separately" is printed

KO does not have "Each Sold Separately"

Original at the top. Corners are normal.

KO at the bottom, corners are rounded.

Original on the right. Megatron and Decepticon word has "All rights reserved" logo.

Original at the top. Number imprinted is clear and up to mark.

KO at the bottom, number imprint is crappy.

Original on the right. Groove is available at knee.

KO on the left, no groove.

Original at the top. No number imprint on the right leg.

KO on the bottom, there is a slight number imprint. but not significant.
