Transformers Vintage G1 C-309 Godbomber

Transformers Vintage G1 C-309 Godbomber
Got this fella together with Go Shooter.
Similarly, MIB without papers
But the box has flap crease and styro has a tear.
not really complaining about the condition since i got it cheap with Go shooter...
But i have to say i'm bit disappointed with the mold...
I haven un-MISB my God Ginrai therefore i have no experience with godbomber.
Box art's cool...
Not much of joints and lotsa of partforming, although all parts connect in both modes.

  1. For all its vaunted rarity before the C-310 reissue, when this guy easily cost USD$400+ MIB, Godbomber IS a pretty disappointing toy. It's not even a Transformer if you ask me because it does not 'transform' per say - it's more like a parts-former where you take it apart and rearrange the parts.

The Godbomber prototype that you see in Transformers: Generations showed a lot more promise and actually did look like it can actually transform. I always wondered why they scraped that in favour of the current mold design.

  3. I have a vintage god bomber and I got it b4 the god ginrai reissue came out. I have the reissue god ginrai as well anyways.

I realised that the sticker on the arms of my vintage god bomber has no white/grey line across the blue backgrd. Whereas my reissue one has it.

Can this be considered as one way to identify the vintage one from the reissue one?
