My first try at customizing electronics into Transformers.

Here we have a Reveal The Shield Jazz.

Vehicle mode. Just like any other RTS Jazz....

Bot mode. Yes, still the same old RTS Jazz....
But look carefully, you'll see a switch on Jazz's waist on his left....move the switch and...

the eyes light up!!

Dealing with electronics is really not easy...had alot of trial and errors and spoilt switches, LEDs, wires....spent alot of time, solders & even required the help of a friend who solders very well...At the end of it all, the satisfaction level is GREAT!

I did not manage to order as i got the magazine too late. Nevertheless, manage to grab 1 piece after it was released and a forum member/friend gave me a heads up on a cheap piece on ebay. Grabbed it. Regret. NO.

Giving the United Jazz a recolor into Stepper. This figure oozes appeal to all....attached with his targetmaster Riocchet, I half expect Stepper to follow his G1 counterpart's footsteps, to be "exclusive" until some china company comes out with the K.O piece.

For Stepper, I posted a video on him too! (Here!)

The flames are actually printed onto the figure and not decals. Initially i thought that they would use stickers.

Riocchet is using the same mold as Reveal The Shield [Battle in Space] Cyclonus's companion Nightstick.

This is clearly one of the better exclusives to acquire. The price might be a bit too steep for a deluxe figure. But after you have it on hand...everything's worth it.

MakeToys Bomber (Not Powerglide) and Hover (Not Seaspray)

MakeToys Bomber and Hover

Basically a 3rd party issue of powerglide and seaspray, complete with G1-ness and articulation.

The size is closer to the original G1 minibot size, unlike the Classics Ultra Powerglide (Here!) and the HFTD Voyager Seaspray.

For bomber, the articulation of the elbows are somewhat limited, only being able to bend inwards. If you need to bend it forward, the fist will be facing palm-wards to the sky.

But i think the face makes up for it. The screw exposed on the forehead is a reminiscence of the G1 figure.

The articulation on the hips and knees are well executed.

Transformation is somewhat easy. I need not check with the instruction sheet provided. I guess you just have to fidget with the fella abit and it will all work out. But have to be careful with the tail wing (feet) when transforming as it may get abit tricky and filmsy. The color is also G1-like (thumbs up!)....overall i would say its still ok to acquire.

Hover is also a good reminiscence of the G1 Seaspray.

Articulation at the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and even feet makes it a good figure to pose/play with.

Transformation for Seaspray is a challenge for me. Though similarly, no instructions required, but i always pop out the arms while trying to push the propeller upwards to transform into the bot mode. Vice versa, i have to be really really careful so as not to pop out the arms. Thank goodness that the arms are connected via ball joints and easy to fix. For a moment i thought i had broken something!! This is the about the only complain i have. If i really wana be fussy with it, then it will be the "Ronald McDonald shoes" he's wearing. Color-wise, its spot on vs G1 version.

Came with a part missing but spoke to TFC and they sent in the replacement part.

Not bad for a toy manufacturer...but then again i need to go through a friend...emailing them takes a long time to get a respond.

As the rest, to transform into Hercules's right arm, there's no requirement for partsforming.

Almost 99% likeness to his G1 counterpart.

Awesome articulation for a "G1" toy... There's something to complain about though..the hood for the vehicle mode isn't G1-like. It's a cabin rather than a hood...well, nothing's perfect...

Not a bad mold, so far all the "not constrcuticons" are well-built.

G1-likeness is there, poseability is there.

the only thing i can complain about is the paint job. not there the paint job is crap but i feel more details can be added. Definitely a call for the customizers out there to give Hercules a new coat.

Really have no complaints about this one...after transforming it a couple of times, i gave them to my 3 year old boy to play with. In fact, these are built in a way which is more robust than the official toys for the CHUG line. I can safely retrieve them from my boy's toy basket and still intact.

The vehicle mode is what boys like...to push the vehicles around. All 4 wheels can touch the ground...and we all know that some TFs can't due to the transformation difficulty; that the parts can't clip together etc, etc... Like the MP-09 Rodimus prime?

Bought Exgraver (Not scavenger) earlier. But did not Take any photos of it.

When i went to Hong Kong in Dec 2011, i actually picked up the other of the "Not constructicons" at a very good price (thanks to my buddy in Hong Kong!).

This is the first...Dr Crank (Not Hook).

Joints are really tight. No stickers required. Very simple instruction which are easy to follow. In any case, to those that play with transformers regularly, you could probably "decipher" how to transform the figure easily.

Nice articulations add the CHUG feel to the toy, yet retaining G1-ness.

The Hercules joints (which looked like the energon combiner joints) are super tight. making the combined form somewhat robust. In fact i think the combiner joints are more effective than some G1 combiner joints. But of coz, nothing beats G1!

Weapons for all the "Not constructicons" are quite similar, making it confusing which belongs to who if you mix them up. Especially for me since i threw away the boxes and brought them back to Singapore loose.

Articulated yet blocky....:)

Finally its here!

Dont usually buy 12" figures but Iron Man and Captain America captured my eye.

Captain America is very detailed, even to the material of the uniform matches that of the movie.

Was in Hong Kong for hoildays...met up with one of my collector buddies who's residing in Hong Kong right now....He got for me a gem, Victory Saber Giftset!

Then we went to In's Point at Yau ma Tei...its very near the exit A2 of Yau Ma tei Station, less than 5 mins walk. Basically the whole floor (i think its 2nd floor) are all shops selling toys.

Again with his help, i got a good discount for some 3rd party stuffs like Maketoys Bomber (powerglide) and Hover (seaspray), Hercules - Dr Crank, Heavy Labor & Structor.

I took out the boxes for the hercules-bots. The boxes were far too big for me to bring back, so they are considered loose...but 3rd party stuffs to me, boxes are not important and of no value.

The Henkei Minibots were acquired at a toy shop in Macau which i incidentally came across. Super pricing for the 2 sets of minibots!

Encore G1 Ironhide and Ratchet were also acquired in Macau at the same toy shop. Also at a good price.

Encore G1 Black Ironhide from Macau and Reissue G1 Inferno was bought at In's Point in Hong Kong...agn, my buddy helped me get a discount.

The Gem, one of the reasons why i chose Hong Kong as my holiday destination...to collect my Victory Saber Giftset which he helped me acquire months ago!

The box is perfect, almost in C-10 condition.

Complete paperworks.

Unused toys, bone white & almost perfect styrofoam except for a break at Victory Leo's Cannon.
Absolutely no chrome wear....

Victory Leo's missiles are still on sprue.

with the Victory Leo giftset, he has helped me got 2 pieces of my holy grail. (The first being the Goodbye Megatron). I can't thank him enough.

On top of that, he and his wife introduced me to a excellent hot pot restaurant where my family enjoyed the meal really much.

Transformers Legends 4-pack Starscream and Bumblebee

Bought this for my son to play with...in order to divert his attention from my transformers toys.

Discovered this to be one of the worst molds ever!

The 2 bumblebees are ok, not bad...but the Starscreams....CRAP!

The cybertron starscream has loose ball joints that pops out whenever i try to transform it vice versa...even if i treat it with the tendermost hands, it still pops out...really crappy...the movie starscream...feels very plasticky (i created this word if there's no such word), feels very KO...arms are flimsy like hell, legs look distorted, the whole figure is thin like paper, i mean flat as in FLAT!!

I would never ever recommend anyone to buy this set unless its cheap like crap!!

But the Bumblebee, especially the universe one is good....

Transformers Prime Starscream

This is deluxe sized, by Hasbro.

Transformers Prime is a new animated TV series which i did not follow. But as a Starscream slut, i just have to buy this another one of his incarnations.

Build is rather flimsy and i've broken the plane tip. went back to Toys R Us for an exchange.

Bot mode is cool. but the wrist and shoulders arent really 360 degrees articulated.

Was too lazy to change it to the alternate plane mode so no pictures of the plane.

Missiles are made of rubber so customizers have to note when repainting this fella.

The tip of the plane which have to be rotated when transforming the toy is held to the body by a small plastic stud installed inside both plane tip and body.

and there is a spring stopper to hold the part in place whether in plane mode or bot mode. this adds more stress to the stud. ( I know this b'coz after i got the new exchange piece, i took out the screws and analysed what went wrong.)

If you twist the parts too hard while transforming, then likely the stud will break.

My recommendation is to loosen the screws abit then you attempt to transform.

Kre-O Transformers Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Starscream

Went to TRU Vivocity to get myself a Transformers Prime Starscream.

Ended up getting the Kre-Os...the starscream of course is for myself and the 2 small boxes are for my boy, for his christmas present, if he knows what that means.

Kre-Os are similar to Legos but is manufactured by Hasbro. to say it simply, its transformers lego. Yet to open up the Starscream (coz i ran out of space and Starscream can be quite big size from the size of the box)

the bumblebee and Optimus prime are actually quite ok. the troublesome part is that if you want to transform it vice versa, you have to dismantle the whole form and form it into the mode you want...my advice, don't ever lose that manual!

TF Prime Starscream will be covered separately.

I've transformed both just once and they are now in bot mode. Was lazy to form up the vehicle modes so only took the pictures of the bots.

Here's my 3 year old kid fixing the vehicle mode...

Optimus Prime is more posable (though i didnt show it here) and more sturdy in the vehicle mode. The proportion also dont seem equal.
The other thing i didnt like about Optimus prime is that I have to pull out the wheels from the plastic piece each time i want to form the other mode. I cant use the same plastic piece. and believe me, the wheels are pretty hard to pop off.

Bumblebee....less posable but more proportional.
But hell, the vehicle mode is fragile. you'll have the front and rear bumper falling off often if you play with it more than a couple of times. Sometimes i feel like gluing the parts together but that would mean its gonna be stuck in one form permanently.

Botcon 2011 has suceeded in getting me forking out the money for TFA again!

I quit Animated stuffs for awhile but for some reason, The Botcon TFA stuffs have suceeeded again and again...first it was the Botcon Set: The Stunti-Con-Job...and now:

The Customization Class figure: Minerva.

The only difference is that the figure is acquired is the prototype. It never reached Botcon, therefore it does not have antennas, papers nor spec card. Only came with the unsealed Botcon polybag. The botcon piece came with antennas that was made by DJW. There are none from Hasbro as this mold was used for Arcee. For about 30+ pairs of antennas was just not worth it to make another mold, so they got someone else to do it.

For the prototypes, there are probably not more than 10 pieces in the world and I have one!

Definitely not a K.O...i have played with enough official toys and K.O to judge.

The best thing about this piece of prototype is that it is considered unused. This figure was meant for the customization class, which means that all taken out of the class would be painted.

My first Botcon Customization Class figure. And its definitely worth it, especially when the price I paid for it is super reasonable!

Transformers Vintage Picture book

Came across this book on Yahoo Japan, curious about it so got it quite cheap.

When i received it, i was thinking i made a mistake...the book is so small (the size is slightly smaller than half a A4 paper). But when i flipped the pages, cool...about 30 pages of full color artwork.

the rest of the 100 pages are black and white, something like Transformers Universe. There's all the G1 characters. No headmasters, No Victory nor Masterforce. Just early G1.

No regrets...

Search for vintages is never ending...while i'm searching for autobot cars...came across Dinobots and managed to grab this dinosaur...My favourite Dinobot is Snarl but didnt manage to snag myself one...yet...got Sludge instead...no problem, one at a time since i'll getting all 5 Dinos...
Dont mind the toys loose, i'll play with them anyway...
So this piece is loose complete, with only the mailaway sheet, no instructions nor catalog...
transformation is easy so there's no need for instructions...
Stickers seems to be missing, hind legs seems a tad loose...but still ok for me...

As good as new, not unused, i believe...but the condition is superb!

Everthing is in Japanese so i can only look at it and enjoy it...cant really play the game...

After you open the box, the Board forms sort of a "box" to hold the items..

The set of rubber decoy figures ...Includes my favourite Starscream!

As good as new, coz the figures are perfect, clean.
The Instruction sheet...which is pretty much useless to me...LOL

When the item was finally in my hands, then i realised that i could have bought the reissue instead...really, it was the reissue...kinda disappointed but nobody else is to blame, i didn't read the auction carefully enough.

Like the mold alot. G1s though blocky are fun!

Bought this without the box, but complete with full papers.

Will continue to look for a vintage piece but no longer a priority...

Got this off ebay. The hasbro version.

For soem reason, Takara Japanese versions are just difficult to find, everywhere is Hasbro.

Recently, got into the Autobot Cars craze, G1 of course...So went ahead and got Mirage and Hound which i will be posting soon....

This came with the box, and all papers, Item is complete.

There were seom worries that i could have got the K.O piece but after verifying and searching on the net/forums, this is the real deal...

If i manage to get my hands on a K.O piece, i will do a review comparison. For the box comparison, its already for on the forums, but so far never seen one for the toy itself.

This is the catalog that comes along with the toy, part of the paperworks.

Its really been along time since i have seen one...used to have tons of the same catalogs around...but all is gone...

Had some free time today and went over to RoboRobo at excelsior's hotel shopping arcade.

The shop justhad its display upgraded/renovated looks real nice.

But the real nice is actually from this display cabinet below.

Lotsa of Gee-wuns!!

All pieces are somewhat minty, combinations of MIB and MISB pieces.

They have a very nice browning and Darkwings giftset, almost all the G1 combiner giftsets.

Black zarak was there too but the box had 2 big tears in front...couldnt see the condition of the back of the box.

Glad i got this together with another forumer on TFW2005.

Was deliberating for awhile but when he posted the question, i had some "encouragement" to get it and went ahead.

There may be some feedback that the toy was loose, and fall to pieces easily but i wasnt at all worried. Am very familiar with this mold and unless its broken, there's nothing for me to complain about.

Very representative of the G2 series, nice box/box art as usual for TFCC stuffs....

Transformers Takara Brave Maximus. Item is complete MIB. Couldnt afford a Fortress Maximus, needless to say Grand Max...so had to settle for this one...Molds are the same only recolor of each other (Consoling myself) But a very nice mold to play with, not to mention the sheer size of this fella. City mode has a lift for cars and an ejector function to propel the car outta the lift. the ramps on the arms are launching pads which my kids loves to play with...

Given the universe articulation kind of treatment...

though i must say i'm abit disappointed with the thin lower body...

Bot mode and pile driver mode is cool except for the legs i mentioned earlier...very G1-like...

Alternate mode is a tank...hmmm...sorta disappointed coz G1 they're cassettes...but can't complain ...if they made FR into cassettes, then they have to come up with a radio Soundwave...

Pile driver mode is very G1-like except for the "square" pile driveers...if they are round then that would be the icing on the cake!!

Overall, i'm not complaining but i would choose Perfect Effect's Frenzy Rumble over this pair. PE's FR is more G1 cartoon-like and more simple in terms of outlook. of coz, the PE version does not transform into cassettes too...but PE version bot mode is just perfect...

not really complaining about the condition since i got it cheap with Go shooter...

But i have to say i'm bit disappointed with the mold...

I haven un-MISB my God Ginrai therefore i have no experience with godbomber.

Not much of joints and lotsa of partforming, although all parts connect in both modes.

Warpath's ranked with wreckgar as my favourite deluxe figure!!

No extra kibble for the bot mode..nice...and very "fierce"!!

The only problem if we want to be fussy will be the end of the missile sticking otu when it is inserted into the launcher...otherwise, its perfect!

Once again, somewhat disappointed with the QC...Warpath came out of the packaging with a stress mark at the knee and the most annoying thing is that the stres smark is at a spot where there is no movement whatsoever..

This mold is some what using the same mold as Generations Tracks.

But the thing is, wheeljack seems abit short and fat bulky legs...

I tried to "extend" the legs trying to match what is shown in the instruction sheet....

But it seems that they also reused the instruction sheet from Tracks for Wheeljack.

The figure seemed very bone white, comparable to the United version? Let's see...

The main issue here is the QC of the toys...for my wheeljack, it seems that half the mouth plate/face was not painted. this i'll have to get back to Robotkingdom (Where i bought the figure from)...hopefully they can send me a replacement head for Wheeljack!

Finally completed and took pictures for my second Devastator!

Done up the second piece cause i felt that there's alot to improve from my first.

Took on a different paint scheme and with washing, added more details to this monster.

Really like the effects of this one here!

Molds used are the same, but the connectors are more rigid and robust.

As usual, tamiya enamels for the base and details, washing with tamiya acrylics.

i had this idea when Henkei Ghost Starscream was released.

Starscream has always been my favourite transformer character.

The repaint shows Ghost Starscream in transition with the legs still in "ghost" phase.

This comes from the scene in G1 cartoon when Ghost Starscream confronted Octane.

Used tamiya enamel paints for this repaint.

Painted the hood/conpoy in cartoon style.

Washes used to highlight the details.

This giftset came almost together with the C-131 Raiden giftset...a friend in hong kong helped to acquire this piece and brought it along with him when he came over to Singapore. (saved an amount of shipping! yeah!)

For those that want to play with this set and am thinking that it's ok not to have the instruction sheet, they're wrong.

This is one of the most difficult combiner to play with.

Without the instructions, it is almost impossible to complete the combination.

My advice is at least download some scans of the instructions.

then one will be able to enjoy playing with it.

Instead of a lion, Greatshot is a Rhino and the head sculpt is also different than that of sixshot.

Actually saw these when i was in Japan (Akihabara) Mandarake Complex.

Wanted to buy but was following a Landcross Giftset auction on Ebay...So didn't get this piece then...

After i cam back and lost the auction, i managed to get my friend to grab this for me!

Nice toy to play with and fairly reasonable price too!

Ther sparkdash bots were a surprise find...my friend was telling me all the numbers of the vintages...C-314, C-315, C-320.......then i said..."wait...let me find out"

Ended up getting this 2 fellas...too bad the third spark bot wasn't around....

The box condition was very good and so were the toys. Definitely a good buy!

Very good mold with a challenging transformation.

Cool figure too but really needs a good paint job.

Same mold as Henkei/Universe Ramjet. (actually i never played with a conehead before as mine are all still MOSC)

But being very similar to a starscream mold, i could transform it easily...

No complains on this fella though...

Don't know about this guy much.

The transformation is okay and the car mode is cool...bot mode is abit somewhat different form the usual prowls, swipes and streakers...

Alternity Starscream

Though i'm a Starscream fan/slut, this has to be the worst of all so far.

I tried transforming it once, after i got it out of the box/tray.

And hell, i would probably never ever transform it again...joints are loose, the doors drop easily..and the four spider eyes...man, are there any non-blind QC at hasbro?

i had to color the top 2 eyes black to make it look so much more easy on my eyes...

a flimsy figure...the only factor that would salvage this fella is the design...otherwise, nuts!

Road Caesar is really cool, very playable...

Galaxy Shuttle is an Autobot from the Victory portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Galaxy shuttle does not have a very interesting name. Nor does he have an interesting perosnality.Nor does he have an interesting job, which is basically "Autobot bus, but in space".

However, he does have a funny voice and the ridiculously interesting "Meteor Crusher" ability to become the center of a swarm of meteors which he can use to smash land-based targets to fine powder. Yikes.

The box is not exactly in a good condition...numerous repairs on the box and the styrofoam is not in a good shape either...But heck....i did not acquire this for future sale...i want it for MYSELF!

The micromaster for sonic bomber is not the original one...it is from the Brave recolor mold.

Otheriwse complete with instructions...Stickers applied.

Toy condition is good...No complaints from me!

Dai Atlas succeeded Star Saber as Supreme Commander of the Autobots forces. A skilled swordmans, his prowess with a blade is considered almostr equal to taht of his predecessor. Dai Atlas has sworn to defeat the forces of the new Decepticon Emperor of Destruction, Violen Jiger and protect the Zodiac at all costs.

Dai Atlas is a powered master who can combined with his partners. When combined with Sonic Bomber, they become Sky Powered. When combined with Road Fire, they become Land Powered. And Finally, when combined with Sonic Bomber and Road Fire, the three form the massive Big Powered.

His son Speeder accompanies him in battle as his micromaster partner.

Sonic Bomber is the youthful, energetic and happy-go-lucky second in command of the Autobots. he looks up to his Supreme commander, Dai Atlas with respect and admiration. Though brash and cocky, Sonic Bomber knows when to shut up and do what he's told.

He is paired with his micromaster partner, aptly named Sonic.

Road Fire is usually what one would call a "gentle giant". Despite his enormous size, strength and skill, he remains friendly and good-natued to all around him. Until the figthing starts. Once battle breaks out, so does a much more hardened Road Fire, willing to go all-out to defeat any enemy and fight to the bitter end.

Got some loose insects from the flea market in China Square...started on articulation and new paint job for shrapnel...will proceed with the other 2 insects when i have the necessary parts available...

Shrapnel isn't exactly completed yet...pending some details on the paint and some faction decals....but the pictures shown are about 95% complete....

Painted fully with tamiya enamels...and legs now have articulated crotch and knees, hands are articulated at the shoulders and elbows...didn't do anything to the fists though....

The reason why this is called the "Lazy Version" is because i'm supposed to do the repaint with an airbrush...instead i used myhands...hand brushed it, that is why the uneven coat and color...

This is a custom repaint of Universe Starscream...The Autobot version of Starscream...STARFIRE!!

He is hand painted with enamels. Articulated hands and a LED lavablast cannon.

Character Bio: Starscream was frustrated with not able to overthrow Megatron...he decided to switch to the Autobots faction just to "show" that Megatron cannot defeat him if he was with the opposition side, that he was the main reason why Autobots cannot defeated the Decepticons. He wanted to prove that he was a better leader.

True enough, alongside with Jetfire, he led the Aerialbots into a convincing victory in a battel where Dirge and Thrust perished.

Incorporating the Starburst pulse cannon into his arms and fists, he surprised the Decepticons when he pulverised Thrust in a single blast. To top that, the lava blast cannon which perceptor gave him demolished the fleeing Dirge...

But given the traitor he is....no one knows for how long he will stay an Autobot.....

Frenzy and rumble has always been one of my favourite G1s since I got hooked to Transformers. didn't manage to both of them...only got Frenzy which was so worn out that the color's totally different...Now that TakaraTomy has re-issued this set, I HAVE TO GET ONE!!

Finally managed to own this piece to complete my Return Of Convoy Collection (Autobots).

This is not the vintage version but the re-issue version.

Soon, i'll post the combined pictures of Star Convoy, Sky Garry and Grandus!!!

Wanted to look for a loose one...but this MIB piece came along and i grabbed it!!

The box has a small dent but otheriwse, everything's perfect!!

Some Bio on Battlestars: Return Of Convoy...

Battlestars: Retrun Of Convoy is the penultimate part of the Japanese Transformers continuity and features the rebirth of Convoy (optimus Prime) as Star Convoy. Alongside his cybertron (autobots) allies, Star Convoy battles the evil super Megatron and the mysterious Dark Nova.

Battlestars depicts Convoy revived by the Destrons (Decepticons) after his death in Headmasters initially as the evil False Convoy. He battles the Cybertrons but is defeated and then reborn as the Ultimate Cybertron Commander Star Convoy with Zone Energy. Star Convoy is also reunited with Hot Rodimus (Hot Rod) as his micromaster partner. Galvatron, thought to be buried alive and trapped forever in the Arctic during hedamasters, is reformed into Super Megatron by Dark Nova and proceeds to battle with Star Convoy and the other Cybertrons, including Grandus, Skygarry and Sixliner.

After initially defeating the cybertons, Super Megatron gets subsequently destroyed by them. Dark Nova then rebuilds him into Ultra Megatron. Despite being even more powerful than before, Ultra Megatron is again defeated by Star Convoy and the Cybertrons, but in near-death, merges with Dark Nova to become Star Giant, a six-armed, tentacled mechanical beast. Star Convoy and the Cybertrons battle and eventually defeat Star Giant, ending the series.

Star Convoy is briefly mentioned in the sequel Operation Combination, as having left Earth to do battle with the mysterious, next Destron Emperor of destruction Scrash in outer space.

All loose pieces, in good condition. Missing 3 shells and 4 weapons.

Have been aiming this for a long time...

Finally got it off ebay. The rest of the shells should be easily available on ebay.

Having to see it for the first time, was slightly disappointed as i thought that the size would be equivalent to G1 combiners like Devastator, superion etc, but not!

Monstructor is formed by combining all six individually-carded Pretender Monsters. Much like the earlier transformer teams, he requires the attachment of separate accessories - his head, waist, fists and feet - to complete his robot mode. However, unlike earlier combiners, the separate pieces can all be stored on the individual team members; they fit on the backplates of the pretender shells. As his individual components are not much larger than a Micromaster, Monstructor is the smallest fo the G1 combiners, standing about the same height as regular toys like Hot Rod...yes, even shorter than the Micromaster Six-team's combined form.

Monstructor was the final G1 combiner released by Hasbro,and the only one to not be released in a giftset in any market.

This set of mold was also used to make Dinoking, the Dinoforce's combined form.

Beneath the gibbous moons of Cybertron, in the great dark spaces of the sunless void, far beyond the realms of man's childish reachings, does the great dread Monstructor have his origin. A being that seems instinct with some fearful and unnatural malignancy, his form like a robot and a deep great shadow at once, his very presence is said to drain light and life from the world around him, feeding his ancient hunger. A palable cloak of dread follows his movements, and the very sight of his summoning and formation has driven sane beings beyond the bound of madness. All living things, mechanical or organic, decay and die at his merest touch.

Monstructor is the channel for an evil beyond the darkest Decepticon imagination, and far beyond the puerile concerns of the insignificant beings who make up his composite form. He longs for the day, foretold in darkness, when he shall be split asunder no longer, and will rise one final time, free to travel the stars, from world to world, extingusihing all life sparks, ravening for delight.

Monstructor's body is the combined form of six Pretender Monsters: Ice pick, Birdbrain, Bristleback, Scowl, Slog, Wildfly.

A friend asked me to custom repaint this fella as the orginal paint job was really disappointing...yucky as a matter of fact!

So i took this up in between my WIP of Devastator, and delivered this to him!!

Liked the complete figure very much such that i feel like getting one and repaint for myself!!

I didn't get this piece until early 2009...regretted not getting it early but no regrets getting it at all...this fella's pretty rare right now and i'm glad i own one..still hesitating whether to open

My favourite character, Starscream gets the henkei exclusive treatment!!

GHOST OF STARSCREAM...always a favourite...GSS already got the e-hobby treatment when it launched the G1 form in 2001 (Here:http://cavecollection.blogspot.com/2009/09/e-hobby-exclusive-g1-ghost-starscream.html )but this has to be the best!! Unless takara decides to issue a Ghost Starscream Masterpiece..THAT'LL BE HELL!!!

This is an exclusive henkei figure pre-ordered with Transformers Vol. 2 magazine same as Electro Liger with Vol. 1.

Took at least 6 months of waiting before it arrived at our shores...

Really like this figure very much and gonna open one up soon!!

Transformers Vintage G1 Grandus

Grandus is an Autobot from the Return of Convoy portion of the Gernartion 1 continuity family.

Grandus ia a colossal Autobot who serves as a base for the numerous autobot Micromasters. He can combine with Star Convoy and Sky Garry to from the triple combination Battlestar Attack.

His Micromaster partner is Spinner.

To counter the threat of Dark Nova, the autobots formed an elite sub-group known as the Battlestars, headlined by Sky Garry and Grandus. Their mission was to revive Optimus Prime so that he might thwart Dark Nova.

Aware of the mission of the Battlestars, Dark Nova stole Optimus Prime's body and cloned it as the evil false convoy. Grandus and Spinner proved instrumental in defeating False convoy before he could kill sixliner.

After False Convoy's defeat, Grandus and the Battelstars rescued the fallen supreme commander's corpse from the Great Novaroid forces on planet Lucifer. Using hte power of the Zodiac, they brought Optimus Prime back to life and upgraded him to Star Convoy.

Later, Grandus was stuck cleaning up the remaining Novaroid and Galaman soldiers on planet Lucifer while Star Convoy and Sixliner faced Super Megatron alone on Earth.

Grandus eventually joined the other Battlestars in a space battle against Super Megatron and his great Galaman warriors. Combining into the triple Combination Battlestar Attack, they shot Super Megatron into pieces.

Dark Nova then revealed himself and upgraded Super Megatron into Ultra Megatron.

Then afte that, the Decepticon Emperor merged with Ultra Megatronto become the Star Giant.

Grandus and the other battlestars travelled into Star Giant's stomach and took the behemoth apart from the inside-out, narrowly escaping just as their foe exploded and died.

Got this guy together with the Rocket Base from Japan...Really fruitful...

Metrotitan is one of the rarer vintages around...i was deliberating for a long time whether to buy it or not...i'm glad i did!! :)

Metrotitan is a Decepticon City-bot from the Zone portion of Generation 1 continuity family.

Constructed on Saturn's moon Titan, Metrotitan is a massive Decepticon warrior, commanded by the villainous Violen Jiger to destroy the Autobots. He was taught the ways of evil by the Nine Great Demon Generals.

He leads the Metrosquad and has also been known to house the Race Track Patrol.

His first mission upon activation was to attack the Autobot Lunar Zone Base on Earth's moon commanded by Rabbicrater.

He proved to be very impressive in battle and even killed the veteran Autobot Galaxy Shuttle in his attack on the Lunar Zone Base. Metrotitan might even have been able to best Dai Atlas if Sonic Bomber hadn't kept the Metrosquad busy.

Metrotitan then unleashed his freeze beam gun and used it to reduce the moon to an icy tomb. His freeze beam was even powerful enough to stop Sky Powered in its tracks. However, the Decepticon warrior was unprepared for the arrival of a third Powered Master named Road Fire. His freeze beam was easily countered by Road Fire's "Fire Kick" and Metrotitan was soundly defeated.

Got this fella in Japan Akihabara area...Complete MIB with all 5 micromasters...Stickers unapplied and no yellowing at all!! But the box condition is quite worn down...but heck, getting ready for my coming Galaxy Shuttle!! Hahaha

The rocket base is an Autobot Micromaster base from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Interstellar hero Countdown commands the enormously powerful rocket base in his quest to free the galaxy from Decepticon tyranny. The base converts from a mobile launching pad and rocket into a full command center to aid Countdown in his ever-moving fight for freedom. The rocket is an enormous ship, and can transport the rest fo the command center via an unspecified form of compression. The base's equipment includes laser blasters, a repair bay and an interstellar communications and tracking center.

When planet Micro was rebuilt by the Powered Masters to protect the newly-developed Energon-Z, Moon radar's rocket base formed the core fo the Zone Base, a sprawling installation formed of numerous interlocking stations manned by Micromasters which served to defend the planet. The rocket base served as a launch station for both the trustworthy Autobot Galaxy Shuttle and the "Galaxy Rocket", a spacecraft which could transform into a small base itself, which both transported Micromaster teams to planets all across the galaxy in order to protect them from the Decepticons attempting to making a "Zone" of their own.

After defeating Decepticon attacks on various other planets, the Autobots on Zone itself soon came under attack by Overlord, Bruticus, Menasor and Abominus who sought the Energon-Z for their master, Violen Jiger. The villians successfully purlouned the energy source but the Micromasters did not give up, transforming the rocket base and launching the galaxy rocket in pursuit if the Decepticons. Unfortunately, the tiny heroes were stopped in their tracks by Black Zarak. But soon, Dai Atlas and Sonic Bomber arrived to put the Decepticons in their place.

The Zone base later came under Decepticon attack once more, this time at the hands of the monstrous Metrotitan and was badly damaged in his assault. Galaxy Shuttle was stationed at the rocket base at the time and was destroyed by the towering terror. The extent of the damage suffered by the rocket base, if it survived at all, is unclear.
